Getting out and about

We engage people in activities that suit them on a daily basis. That can involve support into paid work, like paper rounds or farm work, taking people to meet up with friends and families, or quiet activities like arts and crafts, or playing games.

We also encourage people to socialize with others through organised swimming sessions (which are a big hit!), and days out to the zoo or AirHop.

“[We] appreciate the care and love shown to our young adult and family feel [of the care environment], communicating and being flexible with visits.” – Family member

People change. So should their support, we encourage it!
We give everyone involved with Thornery Care the opportunity to take part in our Quality Assurance Surveys
Here are some charts displaying all of the wonderful feedback we received from the people we support, their families, friends and other professionals.
